Heat recovery
T-Rec
The heat that today goes up the stack.
A heat exchanger fitted onto the boiler flue: it pre-heats the incoming water using the heat of the flue gas, recovering up to 60% of the temperature otherwise lost through the stack.
Higher boiler efficiency
Pressure washer boilers release considerable amounts of energy into the air. Fitting the T-Rec puts that heat to work on the water entering the boiler: outlet water temperature rises and fuel consumption falls.
More from small boilers
The T-Rec performs best precisely on small and medium boilers, recovering up to 60% of the heat lost through the flue. Final water temperature at the pressure washer outlet rises by 10% to 30% compared with the same boiler without a T-Rec.
Economic saving
It is designed for professional equipment: it increases the efficiency and capacity of the pressure washer and cuts the fuel needed to heat the water.
Practical and adaptable
The T-Rec is fitted onto the boiler flue. For the hydraulic connection it is enough to route the boiler inlet pipe into the recovery unit and add an outlet pipe carrying the pre-heated water to the boiler.
It can be fitted to almost any boiler on the market. Trex needs the flue connection dimensions, so that boiler and exchanger match correctly, and the capacity of the boiler it will be mounted on, in order to assess how it will perform.
