Looks and function

The starting point was to optimise the ratio between air thrust and volume in the fan assembly, while improving how it looks. The clinching technique gives excellent strength, especially in the stainless steel version, and a finish unmatched in this field. The thrust-to-volume ratio is excellent.

Available in different formats

Air adjustment can be a sliding damper fitted inside the volute to keep the appearance clean, visible from outside and adjustable at the outlet. Alternatively, a rotating disc adjustment on the fan intake.

The outside air intake grille can be made with ø 11 mm holes, for volutes fitted inside the machine, or with ø 7 mm holes to anti-intrusion standard.

Customisable

Standard volutes come with a flange designed for Trex boilers, with 4 fixing holes, also suitable for most vertical boilers on the market. Other fixing flanges can be provided on request.

Trex can supply the volute alone or the complete fan assembly with components: motor, fan, pump, transformer, high-voltage cables and junction box. The volute on its own includes the outer cover complete with flange, painted or in stainless steel.
